Why should I order from Modern Catholic Goods rather than directly from Catholic creators themselves?

We created Modern Catholic Goods to provide Canadians with a simple way to get their hands on Catholic goods without the expensive shipping cost and unpredictable customs fees that usually come with purchasing small orders from outside of Canada.

We work directly with creators to stock larger volumes of specially curated products to bring you goods at the best price and take care of the costs of getting the goods into Canada.

Modern Catholic Goods is your online shop for beautiful, modern Catholic gifts + more where you can support many of your favourite Catholic creatives by purchasing their goods all in one place.

Occasionally, we will also stock goods that may not be specifically made by Catholic creators but ultimately point us towards Jesus and goods that contribute to liturgical living such as seasonal Advent and Christmas goods.

Can I send an order as a gift?

Absolutely! We love spreading joy + generosity through helping you send gifts!

Simply type in the recipient’s name and address in the ‘ship-to’ fields upon checkout. We recommend triple-checking the address as we cannot be held responsible for a non-delivery due to a mis-typed address.

Before checking out, be sure to leave a note on your order letting us know it’s a gift and feel free to include a personal message. We will handwrite your message and leave out the invoice!

What if something is wrong with my order?

It is important to us that you are completely satisfied with your order. If there is anything you would like us to look into, feel free to send our team an email at hello@moderncatholicgoods.ca

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

We want you to be completely happy with your order. We gladly accept returns within 15 days of your order delivery date. Please see the Shipping + Returns page here for more details.

At this time, we are unable to process exchanges.

How much does shipping cost + how long will it take to get my order?

With any of our flat rate shipping options and on any orders that are eligible for Free Shipping over a minimum, you should expect to receive your order within 7-10 business days. We also offer express shipping options that you can select at checkout - rates vary.

Do you ship outside of Canada?

We are currently exploring expanding shipping to the US after receiving a number of requests. While our focus will always be on serving our intended mission of making beautiful Catholic goods more accessible to Canadians without hassle, we are also happy to serve customers in the US. We are currently offering a flat rate shipping fee of $12.95 CAD on all US orders (tracking and insurance included). Estimated delivery time is 7-10 business days but due to unpredictable times for processing in customs, we cannot make any delivery guarantees.

What do I need to know about discount codes and sales?

Only one discount code may be applied per order. Discount codes can be combined with gift card codes.

There are some products I am interested in from Catholic creatives whose products you carry, but these are not listed on the site. Can I order them through Modern Catholic Goods?

We at Modern Catholic Goods carefully curate every item we carry and work with our Catholic creative partners to bring the latest + most desired products to our store.

Unfortunately, there may still be obstacles to stocking certain goods but we absolutely welcome requests for products and/or brands - simply send us an email at hello@moderncatholicgoods.ca
