How much does shipping cost?
At Modern Catholic Goods, we offer several options for shipping and ship via Canada Post. These include flat rate shipping, free shipping over a minimum, and express shipping options calculated by total order weight and shipping address.
Exact shipping amounts are displayed prior to submitting your order and when an express option is selected, shipping amounts are based on the items being shipped and the shipping speed specified.
How long will it take to get my goods?
With flat rate shipping and free shipping over a minimum, you can expect your order to arrive within 7-10 business days unless Canada Post is reporting a delay in their deliveries and during the holiday season. When there is a delay or during the holiday season, anticipate an additional 1-2 business days for delivery.
If you choose an express shipping option, shipping estimates will be displayed at checkout.
$10 Flat Rate Shipping
We currently offer a $10 flat rate shipping option which includes shipping insurance. An order of any value is eligible for $10 flat rate shipping. Be sure to select “$10 Flat Rate Shipping” as your shipping option upon checkout. If the value of your goods exceeds $100, your order is eligible for free shipping!
Free Shipping on Orders over $100
Free shipping is automatically applied at checkout on eligible orders and includes shipping insurance.
All orders over $100 ship free, so if you want to make the most of free shipping, we suggest gathering some friends and shopping together to meet that minimum!
What is Route+ Shipping Insurance? Do I need it?
Our ‘$10 flat rate shipping’ option and ‘free shipping on orders over $100’ option both include shipping insurance via Canada Post.
If you choose either of these two above options for shipping, you DO NOT need to add Route+ shipping insurance to your order.
The only shipping option that does not include shipping insurance coverage is the ‘$3 Untracked Lettermail’ option on eligible items.
When exclusively shopping the $3 shipping section, we highly recommend adding Route+ shipping insurance by clicking the button at the bottom of your cart. For a very nominal fee, Route+ will cover any lost or damaged packages on Untracked Lettermail orders.
Can I track my order?
Every shipping method we offer includes tracking with the exception of orders comprised exclusively of items from our $3 shipping section.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping notification email with tracking information included. Simply click the appropriate links and that will take you to the detailed tracking information associated with your order.
For orders that qualify for $3 shipping via Untracked Lettermail, you will receive a notification when your order has shipped, but will not receive tracking information.
When is the last day to order in time for delivery before Christmas?
The last day to order goods to get them in time for Christmas is December 6 with standard shipping options. Flat rate shipping and free shipping on orders over $100 are both standard shipping options. If you select an express option, the last day to place an order with guaranteed Christmas delivery is December 16.
I’m in a rush to get my goods. Is there any way to receive my order sooner?
In addition to flat rate shipping and free shipping over a minimum, we offer express shipping options that can help you receive your goods sooner. Simply upgrade your shipping method to the speed you require in the shipping options section upon checkout. Exact shipping amounts are displayed prior to submitting your order.
Most purchases are entitled to a return for refund within 15 days of your delivery date with the exception of a few products specified in product listings.
Please note that you will be responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning the item and original shipping charges are non-refundable and will not be reimbursed. Items must be unopened, unused, and in original packaging with original tags (if applicable) to be eligible to be returned.
To begin the return process, simply send us an email at email@example.com and be sure to include your order number and the word ‘Return’ in the subject line.
You can request a refund to original payment or store credit for the items returned minus original shipping costs (if applicable).
Refunds can only be issued after we have received the package at Modern Catholic Goods. We are not responsible for lost packages by your carrier.
Return Policy on Items Purchased on Sale or by Pre-Order
All items purchased on sale or by pre-order are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned.
