How much does shipping cost?
At Modern Catholic Goods, we offer several shipping options for Canadian customers, including Untracked Lettermail Shipping, Small Parcel Shipping, calculated rates, flat rate shipping on orders over $49, free shipping over a minimum, and express shipping options.
For US orders, we offer flat rate shipping on
Exact shipping amounts are displayed prior to submitting your order and when an express option is selected, shipping amounts are calculated based on the items being shipped and the shipping speed specified.
How long will it take to get my goods?
With flat rate shipping and free shipping over a minimum, you can expect your order to arrive within 7-12 business days unless Canada Post and/or UPS is reporting a delay in their deliveries, such as during the holiday season or due to inclement weather. When there is a delay, anticipate an additional 1-2 business days for delivery.
If you choose an express shipping option, shipping estimates will be displayed at checkout.
Small Parcel Shipping Options within Canada
Select items in the shop are eligible for small package shipping rates within Canada based on weight and size, as indicated by a 'Lettermail Eligible' label.
All 'Lettermail Eligible' goods are eligible for $3.95 CAD Untracked Lettermail Shipping via Canada Post. This option uses stamps and does not include tracking so opting into shipping protection is highly recommended when choosing this option. Please note that delivery dates are not guaranteed for this method and increased delivery times may occur during peak seasons.
Additionally, all 'Lettermail Eligible' items are also eligible for a Small Parcel Tracked Shipping option that includes tracking.

Flat Rate Shipping within Canada and the USA
Our Flat Rate Shipping option allows customers to pay one flat rate for any order, regardless of the value of the order or the type of goods included.
Flat Rate Shipping - $9.95 CAD for Canadian orders within Ontario, $12.95 CAD for rest of Canada, and $12.95 USD for US orders.
Be sure to select “Flat Rate Shipping” as your shipping option upon checkout.

Free Shipping on Orders over a Minimum within Canada and the USA
Free shipping is automatically applied and appears at checkout on all eligible orders. All orders that ship via this method are tracked. Please note that your order needs to meet the minimum order amount after discounts and before taxes in order for Free Shipping to appear at checkout.

If you want to make the most of free shipping, we suggest gathering some friends and shopping together to meet that minimum!
Do you ship internationally?
We have opened shipping to the US and select regions internationally after receiving a number of requests. While our focus will always be on serving our intended mission of making beautiful Catholic goods more accessible to Canadians, we are happy to serve customers in the US and abroad as well.
International orders are subject to calculated rates and may also be subject to import fees upon delivery. International customers accept full responsibility for any import fees determined by their customs and duties processing authorities.

Can I track my order?
Every shipping method we offer includes tracking with the exception of the 'Untracked Lettermail via Canada Post' option. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping notification email with tracking information included. Simply click the appropriate links and that will take you to the detailed tracking information associated with your order.
I’m in a rush to get my goods. Is there any way to receive my order sooner?
In addition to flat rate shipping and free shipping over a minimum, we offer express shipping options that can help you receive your goods sooner to select locations. Simply upgrade your shipping method to the speed you require in the shipping options section upon checkout if express shipping appears to be an option for you. Exact shipping amounts are displayed prior to submitting your order.
Return Policy
Most purchases are eligible to be returned for a refund within 15 days of your order's delivery date, with the exception of a few products specified in individual product listings.
Please note that the customer is responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning the item and original shipping charges are non-refundable and will not be reimbursed. Items must be unopened, unused, and in original packaging with original tags (if applicable) to be eligible to be returned.
To begin the return process, simply send us an email at hello@moderncatholicgoods.ca and be sure to include your order number and the word ‘Return’ in the subject line.
You can request a refund to your original payment method or store credit for the items returned minus original shipping costs (if applicable).
Refunds can only be issued after we have received the package at Modern Catholic Goods. We are not responsible for packages lost by your carrier.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you received a damaged or defective item, please send us an email at hello@moderncatholicgoods.ca along with a few photos of the damaged/defective items for our records. While we always do our best to provide a replacement, however, we may issue a refund instead if a replacement is not available.
Discounts and Sale Pricing
Discounts and sale pricing cannot be applied retroactively to past orders.
